Ca Doc is a species of fish in the Carp family, originating in Ba Thuoc district, Thanh Hoa. Doc fish eat only plants and live in pure streams. Fish usually takes 4 years to weigh 1kg, so the fish meat is very firm and fragrant. Doc fish is a very healthy dish.
