Whether for business or leisure it’s central location in the heart of D1 blends modern décor with a historic vibe. The staff always go the extra distance and are super friendly. The concierge staff is top notch and Ms. Trinh stands out. She was very helpful in arranging a driver last minute for travel to the Mekong Delta, later following up to make sure everything went well. She was also thoughtful in making a timely reservation for a group dinner. Her professionalism, attention to detail and friendly approach makes each guest feel welcomed. The central location allowed to walk to nearby attractions (book street, old post office, etc.) and attend a great show at the opera. There is a gym also, however the equipment is minimal with just a few treadmills and a seated cable machine so if you’re a gym goer you’ll have to keep your workouts simple. “I had an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and everything was very clean. I especially appreciated the variety of food at the breakfast buffet. Special thanks to the concierge team, particularly ((Tim))who provided us with valuable information about useful apps and local transport services. “We stayed at the Intercontinental Residences for a week in a two bedroom apartment. It was very well appointed with plenty of space for our family of four. The apartment gets serviced every day. The only thing we couldn’t use in the Hotel was the pool but the Residences have their own pool. All of the staff were very friendly. My daughter got sick and the staff were very caring. The breakfast is a very short walk across to the Hotel and was fantastic. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel Yu Chu was also amazing and good value compared to Australia.”
