Mon Chéri Cruise offers 18 stylish cabins alongside the elegant restaurant and bars, fitness facilities and spa service. The cruise provides 5-star standard services with professional staff to guarantee that can satisfy even the most demanding guests. In addition, we absolutely serve the Western and Asian cuisines, and Mon Chéri Cruises is the first cruise in Halong bay having a separated kitchen for Halal foods which are cooked by foreign Chefs with well-equipped Halal Cooking Certification. Moreover, unlike the classic Halong bay tour, Mon Chéri Cruise departs from Hai Phong city, which is approximately 1.5 hours driving from Hanoi, thus the transferring time from Hanoi to the harbor is considerably reduced.

Day 1: Hanoi - Hai Phong – Cai Trap Canal - Lan Ha bay - Dark and Bright Cave (L, D)

Activities: Driving to Hai Phong city, Arriving in Got Ferry, Check in on Mon Chéri Cruise, Welcome Drink, Having lunch while enjoying the natural beauty of bays, kayaking and swimming in Dark and Bright, participating in traditional cooking class, enjoy dinner on board and night activities.

9:00 - 9:30 AM: You are picked up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter and proceed by highway directly to the pier in Hai Phong city for the cruise.

12:00 PM: We arrive at the office in the pier where you will be welcomed by our crew.

12:30 PM: Embark Mon Cheri Cruises. You will be served a welcome drink and provided with a cold towel. This will be followed by a cruise briefing where you will also be given safety instructions before checking in to your cabin. We will set sail and you will have lunch in Mon Cheri's luxury restaurant while enjoying the beauty of the canals on our way to Halong Bay.

15:00 PM: We arrive at Light and Dark Cave, where you can do kayaking or bamboo boat rowed by local people. Then return to Mon Chéri Cruises, followed by swimming near the ship.

17:30 PM: Return to Mon Cheri Cruises, where you can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and enjoy a complimentary sunset party.

Then take part in cooking demonstration to learn about our Vietnamese cuisine of traditional spring rolls.

You can also enjoy the massage service which is available onboard. (Please book directly with the Cruise Manager on the boat)

19:00 PM: A great dining experience awaits you.

20:30-0:00 PM: After finishing dinner, you can enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck, relax with romantic ballad music, enjoy drinks from the bar try your luck at squid fishing, watch a movie or relax in your room.

Day 2: Cat Ba Island – Trung Trang Cave - Hai Phong – Hanoi (B, Br)

Activities: Take part in Tai Chi class in the morning, visit Hospital Cave on Cat Ba, get back to the cruise to have brunch while the cruise is sailing back to Got Ferry, driving back to Hanoi.

06:00 AM: Wake up early to start your perfect day with Tai Chi class or watch the sunset on the top deck. Enjoying a cup of coffee and tea is ideal choice.

7:00 – 9:00 AM: Buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant.

9:30 AM: Visit Cat ba island. You are taken by bus to visit Trung Trang Cave, the beautiful stalagmite and stalactite cave, located in Cat Ba National Park.

10:30 AM: Return the boat. Then have brunch in the restaurant while the boat sail back to pier. Bills are settled at the end of the trip.

12:00 PM: Check out boat and return to port.

Get on the D-car transfer and return to Hanoi.

14:30 PM: Arrive at Hanoi. End of the trip.

Day 2: Lan Ha bay - Viet Hai village - Cat Ba Island (B, L, D)

Activities: Start a fresh new day with Tai Chi class, transferred to Viet Hai village for cycling, free kayaking and swimming in Van Boi Bay.

6:00 AM: It is perfect to start your day in the early morning to admire the marvelous sunrise or attend the Tai Chi class on the top deck. Have a fragrant cup of coffee made from a special blend which was created just for Mon Chéri, or a refreshing cup of tea.

7:00 AM: Buffet breakfast is served.

08:00 AM: Transfer to a Day Boat to head to Viet Hai Village in Cat Ba island. You will take the bicycle trip along the village, admiring stunning scenery of the rice fields on the way. Then you will have some time for trekking into the forest and explore a hidden cave. (You can also choose to see the village by electric car at additional cost).

12:00 PM: Return to the boat, where a BBQ lunch is served on the day boat.

13:45 PM: Kayaking to explore Van Boi Bay and visiting the local people who live in the floating village, followed by swimming at a pristine beach.

16:00 PM: Back on board Mon Chéri Cruises. You are free to take a shower before enjoying the sunset party with a new group of guests.

19:15 PM: Another great dining experience awaits you.

20:45 – 00:00 PM: After finishing dinner, you can enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck, relax with lovely music, enjoy drinks from the bar, try your luck again at squid fishing, watch a movie or retire to your room.

Day 3: Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong – Hanoi (B, Br)

The FOC rate for children under 5 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 5 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
Children from 5-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate. Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
An extra charge of USD 25.00 per extra bed if required to set up in the cabin for 02 days/1night program or USD 35.00 per extra bed for 03 days/2 nights program (already included in children rate). An extra charge of USD 10.00 per baby cot for 02 days/1 night program or USD 15.00 per baby cot for 03 days/ 2nights program if require. This extra service is subject to Victoria Star Cruises availability.
The child rate for children from 5 to 12 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. In case the child occupies the sole cabin, the rate for adult is applied.
Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $50 per person per night applies for travel period from 20 December 2024 to 5 January 2029.
Shuttle bus: $35/ adult and $30/ child round trip. Pick up point: at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or in front of Hanoi Opera House.

* Cancellation by guests Any cancellation should be referred to Auasia Travel in writing by emails, following these below terms.

More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge.
From 30 to 7 days prior to check-in: 10% of total rates.
From 6 to 3 days prior to check in: 50% of total rates.
Less than 3 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
No-Show: 100% of total rates.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances like: weather conditions, wars, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, terrorism. If we cancel your booking, you can either get a refund or accept an alternative from us of equivalent or similar standard and price, if one is available, and we will always refund the difference in price if the alternative is of a lower standard and price.
The cancellation is announced ONLY by Quang Ninh Local Port Authority and often in short notice of time. Therefore your understandings in these situations are highly appreciated.

Without prior notice, the cruise trip could be postponed, shortened or cancelled due to unexpected bad weather, including storm/ typhoon (summer), cyclone, thunderstorm, foggy days (winter), monsoon (winter)…

After guests arrive in Halong Bay: Tour cost based on completed service: meals, transfer, day boat trip only, the rest will be refunded.
Guests are staying on board, trip is shortened: Tour cost based on completed service: trip length, meals, transfer, activities…, the rest will be refunded.

A cabin is limited for 1 child only.
Infants under 5 years old are free of charge, if sharing room with parents (no extra bed provided).
Children from 5 to 7 years old are charged 50% adult if sharing bed with parents.
Children from 7 to 9 years old are charged 75% of tour price, sharing bed with parents - no extra bed provided (as children’s price on our website), or full charge as adult to have extra bed.
Children from 9 years old and above are charged as adult.

Best experience at Mon Cheri Cruise

Our President Suite Room was spotless. The service was extremely nice, and the meal was fantastic. Lam, the assistant manager on the trip, was really nice and escorted us to all of the highlights. He was informative and humorous. We really enjoyed and loved it. Thanks a lot Lam and cruise team for organizing so lovely holiday for us. I wholeheartedly suggest this cruise to everyone.
