Activities: Transfer Hanoi - Halong bay, check in Scarlet Pearl Cruise, visiting Dark and Bright cave , join cooking demonstration and night activities onboard.

Around 08:30 Limousine will pick up guests from hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or Hanoi Opera House (applicable for guests who booked transportation service). Our driver will take a 10-15 minutes break by a station for guests to rest on the way.

11:30 Arrive at Scarlet Pearl Cruise's Lounge in Halong International Cruise Port to check-in. Guests will be offered “welcome drink” and listen to instructions before boarding.

12:00 Guests will start boarding.

13:00 A splendid lunch is served at Tahiti Restaurant while the cruise travelling across primitive Lan Hạ Bay. The bay has hundreds of islands and islets, making it a wonderful background for guests to look at while dining.

15:00 Arrive at Sáng Cave by kayaking or rowing boat as the path towards the cave is 70m long of water. On the way, guests will be amazed by sparkling karst arcs through sunlight. Afterwards, guests are invited to enter Ếch Lagoon, an extremely serene and emerald spot to kayak and swim. It’ll be a wonderful chance to immerse in one of the most remote parts of Lan Hạ Bay. The shape of this lagoon looks like a giant frog resting, hence it explains the name “Ao Ếch” in Vietnamese.

17:00 Return to the cruise to relax and admire the sunset on the sundeck.

17:30 Watching sunset over Lan Hạy Bay is one of the moments that shouldn’t be missed out. During this time, there will be either a Sunset Party in Sky Bar or a cooking class hosted by our Chef (depending on the season).

From 17:30-18:30, it is Happy Hour meaning Buy One Get One Free - this promotion is applied on our limited drinks menu. Guests can also choose to watch the sunset by catamaran while sipping fresh cocktails (this is surcharged).

19:00 Fine-dining dinner will be started along with fun and interactive cultural exchange between all the guests and our Vietnamese host.

Lan Ha bay – Hanoi (B, Br)

Activities: Practice Yoga exercise, enjoy light breakfast, visit Dark & Bright cave, back to the boat to have ful breakfast before preparing to check out, back to the harbor and be transferred to Hanoi.

06:30 : Begin a new day with a Tai Chi session while welcoming magnificent sunrise. (Guests can also choose to take photos and enjoy the scene if they prefer so.) A light breakfast is served from.

06:45 - 07:30: in the refreshing and peaceful beauty of the Bay.

07:30 Explore Lan Ha Bay to visit Dark & Bright cave by catamaran to more remote destinations that larger cruises cannot reach.

09:00 Get ready to check out.

06:45-07:30 in the refreshing and peaceful beauty of the Bay.

09:00 Tour around Ba Trái Đào Beach, one of the most gorgeous beaches in Lan Hạ Bay. Then, guests will visit Việt Hải Village on Cát Bà Island and hop on bicycle rides (or electric cars). On this island, guests will have the chance to go through a rainforest tunnel and sightseeing its gorgeous scenery. Meet and greet the locals living their life, check out their houses and school. A small village of only 80 households nestled in the midst of forests and covered by high mountain range of Cát Bà National Park, Việt Hải locals practise a self-sufficient lifestyle by farming, fishing and breeding. (*Please note that a visit to Việt Hải Village might be cancelled due to bad weather.)

12:00 Taste a fresh lunch on the luxury catamaran, in which guests will have the chance to go fishing and swimming in the remote areas with the most breathtaking views. This exquisite picnic might be the highlight of the day.

14:30 Return to Scarlet Pearl Cruise. Guests can then restore with a true expert massage from Akoya Spa.

19:00 A brand new fine-dining dinner will be served.

  • An extra charge of USD 25.00 per extra bed if required to set up in the cabin for 02 days/1night program or USD 35.00 per extra bed for 03 days/2 nights program (already included in children rate). An extra charge of USD 10.00 per baby cot for 02 days/1 night program or USD 15.00 per baby cot for 03 days/ 2nights program if require. This extra service is subject to Victoria Star Cruises availability.
  • The child rate for children from 5 to 12 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. In case the child occupies the sole cabin, the rate for adult is applied.
  • Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $50 per person per night applies for travel period from 20 December 2024 to 5 January 2029.
  • Shuttle bus: $35/ adult and $30/ child round trip. Pick up point: at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or in front of Hanoi Opera House.

* Cancellation by guests Any cancellation should be referred to Auasia Travel in writing by emails, following these below terms.

  • More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge.
  • From 30 to 7 days prior to check-in: 10% of total rates.
  • From 6 to 3 days prior to check in: 50% of total rates.
  • Less than 3 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
  • No-Show: 100% of total rates.

  • We reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances like: weather conditions, wars, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, terrorism. If we cancel your booking, you can either get a refund or accept an alternative from us of equivalent or similar standard and price, if one is available, and we will always refund the difference in price if the alternative is of a lower standard and price.
  • The cancellation is announced ONLY by Quang Ninh Local Port Authority and often in short notice of time. Therefore your understandings in these situations are highly appreciated.

  • Without prior notice, the cruise trip could be postponed, shortened or cancelled due to unexpected bad weather, including storm/ typhoon (summer), cyclone, thunderstorm, foggy days (winter), monsoon (winter)…
  • Before tours start from Hanoi city: Full refund.
  • After guests arrive in Halong Bay: Tour cost based on completed service: meals, transfer, day boat trip only, the rest will be refunded.
  • Guests are staying on board, trip is shortened: Tour cost based on completed service: trip length, meals, transfer, activities…, the rest will be refunded.
  • A cabin is limited for 1 child only.
  • Infants under 5 years old are free of charge, if sharing room with parents (no extra bed provided).
  • Children from 5 to 7 years old are charged 50% adult if sharing bed with parents.
  • Children from 7 to 9 years old are charged 75% of tour price, sharing bed with parents - no extra bed provided (as children’s price on our website), or full charge as adult to have extra bed.
  • Children from 9 years old and above are charged as adult.

A 3 night must do with Scarlet Pearl Cruise

I am half-Vietnamese, and this is my first visit to the nation since I left at the age of six in 1973. Terrific 5-star experience

Mr Lam, who appeared to be everywhere keeping an eye on everything, was one of the best members of the team. Mr Brian, who we had to ourselves for the day excursion to Viet Hai and kayaking (he did all the work for me!), and notably Miss Jenny, who was constantly smiling, attempted to help us catch some squid, and brought us through a cave. We had a great time on this cruise. This was our first trip to Vietnam, we didn't know what to expect but the service, food and accommodation were all excellent.
