Hanoi - Haiphong - Lan Ha Bay - Viet Hai Village (L, D)

Activities: Boarding & welcome drink · Scenic lunch on board · Cruise through Lan Ha Bay · Visit Viet Hai Village · Cooking class · Evening relaxation & overnight on board

Midday | Embarkation & Welcome Onboard

Around noontime, guests board the cruise and are warmly welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink. A short briefing introduces the onboard facilities, safety guidelines, and the journey ahead as the cruise begins sailing into the serene waters of Lan Ha Bay.

Lunch Onboard While Cruising

Lunch is served in the light-filled dining room, designed with panoramic windows that showcase the passing limestone scenery. While enjoying refined cuisine, the cruise glides through quieter sections of the bay, offering a peaceful alternative to the more crowded routes.

Afternoon | Scenic Cruising & Onboard Leisure

As the cruise heads deeper into Lan Ha Bay, guests may spot an ancient lighthouse built by the French more than a century ago. This stretch of the bay reveals a maze of emerald waters and dramatic karst formations.

During this leisurely cruising time, guests are free to relax on the sundeck, enjoy the swimming pool, or indulge in a range of treatments and massages at the onboard spa—perfect moments to fully embrace the calm atmosphere of the bay.

Experience local life in Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island

The cruise arrives at the landing point of Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. From here, guests explore the village by bicycle (electric car available as an alternative), following small paved roads through a lush valley.

Along the way, meet local residents, observe daily rural life, visit traditional houses, and see the village school—offering an authentic insight into the culture and lifestyle of this secluded island community.

Late Afternoon | Cooking Class & Evening Anchorage

Back on board, guests are invited to join an interactive cooking class led by the onboard chef. Learn about local ingredients and cooking techniques while preparing traditional Vietnamese dishes that can be easily recreated at home.

The cruise then anchors at a quiet and secluded spot for the night, creating a peaceful setting to unwind after a full day of exploration.

Evening | Dinner & Onboard Leisure

Dinner is served in the dining room, followed by free time to relax at your own pace. Guests may enjoy cocktails at the bar, socialize under the stars, or visit the onboard cinema set up in the dining area for a unique evening experience.

For those seeking a bit of fun, night squid fishing is also available before retiring to your cabin for a restful overnight stay on the bay.

Lan Ha Bay - Tra Bau - Haiphong – Hanoi (B, Br)

Activities: Morning Tai Chi · Visit Tra Bau area (kayaking or bamboo boat) · Brunch on board · Disembark & return to Hanoi

Early Morning | Tai Chi & Light Breakfast

Wake up early and greet the day with a gentle Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the first sunlight reflects on the calm waters of Lan Ha Bay. Afterward, enjoy coffee, tea, and light breakfast pastries served in the dining room to refresh your body and mind.

Morning Excursion | Tra Bau Area Exploration

The cruise anchors near Tra Bau, a secluded and tranquil corner of Lan Ha Bay, ideal for a peaceful morning excursion. Guests explore the area by kayak or traditional bamboo boat, gliding through emerald waters and weaving between limestone islets covered with lush vegetation.

This immersive experience offers a close connection with nature, allowing you to fully appreciate the bay’s unspoiled beauty and serene atmosphere.

Late Morning | Brunch Onboard & Return Cruise

Return to the cruise and enjoy a leisurely brunch served in the dining room or, upon request, in the privacy of your cabin. As the vessel begins its journey back to the pier, take time to relax on the sundeck, soaking in the final views of the limestone landscape and calm seascape.

The cruise arrives at the pier at approximately 11:00 AM, marking the end of this memorable journey through the hidden corners of Lan Ha Bay.
