These traditional markets remain important gathering places for Flower Hmong, Dao, Tay, Phu La, Nung and other ethnic communities from the surrounding mountains. Explore the market with your guide while observing stalls selling agricultural produce, local food, textiles and livestock, as well as the social exchanges between villagers who come to trade and meet friends and relatives.
After lunch at a local restaurant, travel approximately 6 km from Bac Ha to Ngai Phu Cho, an area inhabited by the Phu La community.
Spend the afternoon on a leisurely guided walk of around two hours through the valley, passing rural settlements and terraced farmland. The walk provides a closer look at the agricultural landscape and everyday village environment before returning to Bac Ha.

Continue to Lung Tam, an Hmong village known for its traditional weaving and textile crafts. Learn about techniques preserved by local women and the role these handicrafts continue to play in community life.
The journey then continues through the mountains to Yen Minh, where lunch is served.
In the afternoon, travel deeper into the limestone plateau toward Sung La. Here, take a leisurely guided walk among traditional Hmong houses, cultivated fields and the old earthen-and-wooden house associated with the Vietnamese film The Story of Pao.

Continue along the Nang River toward Puong Cave, where the river flows directly through an impressive limestone formation.
During the excursion, disembark for a short guided walk through a Tay village, offering an opportunity to observe local houses and everyday life within the community.
Enjoy lunch at a local riverside setting before continuing toward Dau Dang Waterfall. From the boat landing, follow a short natural trail through the national park to reach the waterfall, where the Nang River flows through rocky terrain surrounded by dense vegetation.
