Depart for Ninh Binh, known as the "Halong Bay on land" with its limestone rocks and rice fields bathed by lakes and rivers. Start by climbing Mua Cave Mountain in the village of Ninh Xuan, where once Tran kings watched dance performances. After 486 steps, you will reach the summit offering stunning views over Tam Coc Boat and its landscapes of rocky pinnacles and rice fields.
Then, head to Tam Coc for a walk, by bike or car depending on the weather and your preferences, through landscapes abundant with white ducks. Next, visit the Bich Dong Pagoda, famous for its caves and Buddhist temples nestled in the mountains.
After lunch in a local restaurant, you will head to Thung Nham for a two-hour rowboat cruise. This will be an opportunity to observe a variety of birds, including storks, herons, teal, starlings, and even Phoenixes, a precious species listed in the Red Book (bird returns are very frequent in the late afternoon from 4:00 PM).
Your day will end with a return to Hanoi.
End of Tam Coc Or Thung Nham Sampam Boat (Ninh Binh) Full Day Trip.
