If your schedule allows, a weekend trip is ideal.

7. Helpful Tips

In your Ninh Binh day trip, here’re some pieces of advice you should take a look at:

Firstly, it’s advisable to dress in sweaters and raincoats to protect against the cold and mist, as the forest tends to be chilly at night and in the early morning. Secondly, the best time to visit Cuc Phuong is during sunny days, once the rainy season has passed, as this will minimize encounters with mosquitoes and other insects. Next, given the abundance of insects in the forest, it’s recommended to carry insect repellent, especially if you’re traveling with young children. Finally, the food options in the forest are somewhat limited, so it’s a good idea to pack enough food to last for 1.5 days, particularly if you’re on a trip with young children.

The diverse and abundant ecosystem positions Cuc Phuong as a must-visit ecological destination for tourists who appreciate immersing themselves in the wonders of the wild.
