Sea Octopus Day Cruise Halong Bay warmly welcomes guests at the waiting dock of Halong International Passenger Port. After check-in, guests embark on a scenic journey to explore the natural beauty of Halong Bay.
08:50 – 09:00 | Departure & Welcome Ceremony
With a traditional drum performance by the crew, the cruise departs from the port. Guests are greeted with a welcome drink, followed by a brief introduction video covering the cruise concept, safety regulations, and environmental protection guidelines.
Guests arriving after 09:00 will be transferred to the yacht by private canoe (additional charge applies).
09:00 – 10:30 | Scenic Cruising on Halong Bay
As the cruise sails through the bay, guests can relax on board and admire the magnificent limestone karsts and calm emerald waters of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
10:30 – 11:30 | Explore Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave)
Visit Sung Sot Cave, the largest and one of the most impressive caves in Halong Bay. Walk through its vast chambers filled with spectacular stalactites and stalagmites, shaped naturally over millions of years.
11:30 – 12:15 | Optional Outdoor Activities
Guests are invited to choose one of the following experiences:
-Kayaking or bamboo boat ride at Luon Cave – Discover a tranquil lagoon surrounded by towering cliffs and calm waters.
-Private canoe experience – Enjoy an exciting ride to explore different scenic corners of Halong Bay.
These activities are not included in the cruise price and can be paid when booking or directly onboard.

Guests board the cruise and enjoy a welcome drink with fresh fruits. The cruise manager provides a short briefing about Halong Bay, the evening program, safety regulations, and sustainable travel practices onboard.

1. Cancellation by Guests
All cancellation requests must be sent in writing via email to Auasia Travel and are subject to the following terms:
- More than 30 days before check-in: No cancellation fee applies.
- 30 to 7 days before check-in: 10% of the total rate will be charged.
- 6 to 3 days before check-in: 50% of the total rate will be charged.
- Less than 3 days before check-in: 100% of the total rate will be charged.
- In the event of a no-show, 100% of the total rate will be charged.
2. Cancellation by us
Auasia Travel reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances, including:
- Adverse weather conditions, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, natural disasters, or acts of terrorism.
In the event of a cruise cancellation initiated by us:
- Guests have the option to receive a full refund or select an alternative arrangement.
- Accept an alternative cruise or service of equivalent or similar standard and value (subject to availability).
- If the alternative is of a lower standard or price, the difference will be refunded.
*Note: Cruise cancellations are announced only by the Quang Ninh Local Port Authority, often with very short notice. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these situations.
3. Cancellation by Weather Conditions (Information controlled and issued by the local authority.)
Without prior notice, cruise trips may be postponed, shortened, or canceled due to severe or unexpected weather, including:
- storms, typhoons, cyclones, thunderstorms, fog, or seasonal monsoons.
4. Refund policy in weather-related cases:
- Before tour departure from Hanoi: Full refund.
- After arrival in Ha Long Bay: Refund will be calculated based on services already completed (e.g., meals, transfers, day-boat trip).
- For guests already on board: If the trip is shortened, refund will be based on completed services (length of trip, meals, transfers, activities, etc.), and the remaining amount for unutilized services will be refunded to the guest.
- Children from 5 to 7 years old are charged 50% adult
- Children from 7 to 9 years old are charged 75% of tour price
- Children aged 9 and above are charged the adult rate
