In the afternoon, visit Surprise Cave (Sung Sot Cave), one of Ha Long Bay's largest and most impressive caves. Return to the cruise afterward and relax while the boat continues toward its overnight anchorage.
Depending on the cruise program, you may also join an onboard fruit-and-vegetable carving demonstration.

Arrive at Lao Cai Railway Station at approximately 6:00 AM, where your driver and local guide will meet you for the mountain journey to Sapa.

Begin with a visit to Cat Cat Village, a traditional Black H'Mong community near Sapa. Walk through the village with your guide, passing terraced fields, local homes and mountain landscapes while learning about H'Mong traditions and everyday life.
Head back to Sapa for lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, transfer by vehicle to Y Linh Ho and begin a shorter guided trek through the beautiful Muong Hoa Valley toward Lao Chai Village. Walk among rice terraces, streams and mountain scenery before finishing near the Lao Chai Bridge area.

Activity level: Moderate. Comfortable trekking shoes with good grip, sun protection and a light waterproof jacket are recommended.
After breakfast, travel to the cable car station and begin your journey toward Fansipan Mountain, the highest mountain in Vietnam.
Ride the Fansipan cable car above the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and continue toward the summit area, where panoramic mountain views can be enjoyed when weather conditions are clear.
Descend to Sapa and enjoy lunch before boarding a comfortable express bus to Hanoi. The road journey normally takes approximately five to six hours, depending on traffic.

Overnight in Hoi An
After breakfast, meet your guide and begin a leisurely countryside cycling experience, following quiet village roads and rice fields toward a local vegetable village. Along the way, enjoy views of the rural landscape and observe everyday life in the countryside surrounding Hoi An.
At the village, learn about local farming traditions and ingredients before joining a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class. With guidance from your local host, prepare several traditional dishes and enjoy your creations for lunch.
After lunch, relax with a herbal foot bath before continuing toward the Bay Mau water coconut forest. Board a traditional basket boat and travel through the coconut waterways while learning about local fishing techniques and the area's river-based way of life.

Continue north along the scenic coastal road and cross the famous Hai Van Pass, stopping at a suitable viewpoint to admire the mountains, coastline and surrounding scenery.
