The 13-Day Vietnam Tour: Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh, Hoi An, Hue & Mekong Delta begins in Hanoi and ends in Ho Chi Minh City, connecting northern heritage, central Vietnam’s historic towns and the waterways of the south. The journey combines guided sightseeing, an overnight Ha Long Bay cruise, scenic countryside, traditional craft villages and distinctive local food experiences.
From Hanoi, travel through Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh, with kayaking or a bamboo boat at Luon Cave, countryside cycling, a Thung Nham sampan ride and panoramic views from Hang Mua. Continue south to Hoi An for pottery, basket boating, traditional carpentry and an Ancient Town walk before crossing the Hai Van Pass to Hue for imperial heritage and village traditions.
The final days feature a Vespa Street Food Tour in Saigon and an immersive Ben Tre Mekong Delta stay with river journeys, local workshops, market life, a cocoa garden and hands-on cooking. Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport, meet your driver and transfer approximately 30 km to your hotel in central Hanoi. The transfer usually takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
After check-in, you are free to spend the remainder of the day as you wish. Take time to rest after your flight or begin exploring the surrounding neighborhood independently.
Lunch and dinner are on your own, giving you the flexibility to dine at your hotel or choose from the many restaurants nearby.

After breakfast, begin your guided exploration of Hanoi at Ba Dinh Square and the area in front of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where your guide will introduce important chapters of Vietnam's modern history.
Continue to Tran Quoc Pagoda, beautifully located beside West Lake, before visiting Hoa Lo Prison, one of the capital's most significant historical sites.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then discover the character of the Hanoi Old Quarter on foot. Walk through traditional commercial streets around Dong Xuan Market, Hang Ma, Lan Ong and Hang Buom, visit Bach Ma Temple, and stop at a local café to experience Hanoi's distinctive coffee culture.
Later, stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake before enjoying a traditional water puppet show, one of northern Vietnam's best-known performing arts.

After breakfast, depart Hanoi and travel to Ha Long Bay. Arrive at the cruise harbor around midday and board your overnight cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink and safety briefing before lunch is served as the vessel begins sailing among the bay's dramatic limestone islands and emerald waters.
In the afternoon, explore Luon Cave, choosing between a kayak or traditional bamboo boat to pass through a low limestone opening into a peaceful lagoon surrounded by towering cliffs.
Continue to Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), one of the largest and most impressive caves in Ha Long Bay, featuring vast chambers and remarkable stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Return to the cruise in the late afternoon and relax on board. Activities may vary according to the cruise schedule.
Dinner is served in the evening, followed by free time to unwind on deck or join activities such as squid fishing.

Wake early to enjoy the peaceful morning scenery of Ha Long Bay, with the option to join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck before a light breakfast.
Transfer by tender to Titov Island, where you may climb to the viewpoint for panoramic views across the bay or spend time relaxing near the beach.
Return to the cruise to freshen up and complete check-out procedures. Enjoy brunch while sailing back toward the harbor, taking in your final views of Ha Long Bay.
After disembarkation, meet your driver and continue by road to Ninh Binh. Arrive in the Tam Coc area during the afternoon, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Please note that the Ha Long Bay cruise route, sightseeing order and activities may be adjusted depending on weather, tides and local operating conditions.

After breakfast, begin the day with a leisurely countryside cycling experience around Tam Coc, following quiet village lanes through rice fields and beneath Ninh Binh's dramatic limestone karsts.
The ride is relatively easy and normally lasts around 45–60 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the rural scenery at a comfortable pace.
Continue by bicycle to Bich Dong Pagoda, a historic Buddhist complex built into the side of a limestone mountain. Explore its three levels and tranquil surroundings before continuing to Thung Nham.
Here, board a local sampan for a scenic journey through peaceful waterways framed by limestone cliffs and lush vegetation.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Hang Mua for the day's most active experience. Climb approximately 500 stone steps to the summit for sweeping views across the Tam Coc Valley, rice fields, winding waterways and surrounding limestone mountains.
After descending, begin the drive back to Hanoi, arriving in the early evening.

The Hang Mua climb is moderately strenuous, so comfortable walking shoes, drinking water and sun protection are recommended.

Following breakfast, head to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, meet your driver and continue toward Hoi An.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting Thanh Ha Pottery Village, a traditional craft community with a long history of pottery making.
Walk through the village, observe local artisans shaping clay by hand and learn about the connection between this craft and the history of Hoi An. When available, you may also have the opportunity to try a simple hands-on pottery activity.
Continue to Hoi An and check in at your hotel. The remainder of the evening is free at leisure, giving you time to relax or independently explore Hoi An's atmospheric lantern-lit streets.

After breakfast, travel with your guide by private vehicle to Cam Thanh Coconut Forest, a peaceful riverside area on the outskirts of Hoi An.
Board a traditional basket boat and glide through narrow coconut waterways with a local boatman while learning about the area's fishing traditions and river-based way of life.
Continue to Kim Bong Carpentry Village, where generations of artisans have preserved traditional woodworking, wood carving, architectural carpentry and boat-building skills. Visit local workshops and observe craftspeople at work while discovering how Kim Bong artisans contributed to Hoi An's historic architecture.
After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Hoi An Ancient Town for a guided walking tour.
Visit Quan Cong Temple, Fujian Assembly Hall, the Japanese Covered Bridge and Tan Ky Ancient House, while learning about the Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese influences that shaped Hoi An during its centuries as an international trading port.
After the guided visit, enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, leave Hoi An and begin the scenic journey north toward Hue.
Travel through Da Nang and cross the spectacular Hai Van Pass, stopping at selected viewpoints for panoramic views over the mountains, coastline and Lang Co Bay.
Continue through Lang Co and Lap An Lagoon, where calm lagoon waters, mountain scenery and local fishing landscapes create a beautiful contrast to Vietnam's historic cities.
Continue to Hue and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the city.
In the afternoon, head into the countryside to visit Thanh Toan Tile-Roofed Bridge, a historic covered bridge surrounded by rice fields and a traditional rural community.
Explore the village with your guide and learn more about agricultural life in the Hue countryside before returning to the city.
After check-in, enjoy a free evening at your own pace.

After breakfast, begin your guided exploration of the Hue Imperial Citadel, the former political and ceremonial center of the Nguyen Dynasty.
Walk through important areas of this UNESCO-listed complex, including Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace and sections of the former Forbidden Purple City, while learning about Vietnam's imperial history and royal traditions.
Continue to Gia Long Tomb, set within a peaceful landscape of hills, lakes and forests. Its spacious layout and natural surroundings provide a quieter contrast to some of Hue's more elaborate royal monuments.
After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Thanh Tien Paper Flower Village, where generations of local families have preserved the craft of making colorful paper flowers.
Meet local artisans, learn about the cultural significance of the craft and, when available, try making a simple paper flower yourself.
Travel back to Hue in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver for the transfer to Hue Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Upon arrival, meet another driver and transfer to your hotel for check-in or luggage storage, depending on your arrival time.
The afternoon is free at leisure, allowing you to rest after the flight or independently explore the surrounding area.
Lunch is on your own.
In the evening, meet your English-speaking guide for a Vespa Street Food Tour through Ho Chi Minh City's lively neighborhoods.
Ride pillion with an experienced driver and stop at selected local eateries to sample a variety of Vietnamese street food while experiencing the flavors, energy and everyday nightlife of Saigon.
The street food tastings serve as your evening dining experience, so no separate dinner is arranged.
After completing the tour, make your way back to your hotel.

After breakfast, leave Ho Chi Minh City for Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta.
Arrive at Ham Luong Pier and board a local boat for a cruise along the Ben Tre River, observing riverside villages and everyday life along one of the delta's characteristic waterways.
Visit a traditional brick-making workshop, a coconut processing workshop and a local mat-weaving workshop, with time to enjoy tea and seasonal fruit.
Continue through the countryside by local motor cart, passing gardens and village landscapes before enjoying lunch with a local family.
Later, board a small rowing boat and travel through narrower canals before continuing to your homestay.
After check-in, enjoy some free time to relax or walk around the surrounding village independently.
In the evening, sit down to a home-style Mekong Delta dinner prepared with local ingredients, followed by a traditional herbal foot bath.

After an early breakfast at the homestay, begin the morning with a guided visit to a local market in Ben Tre.
Walk among stalls selling vegetables, herbs, tropical fruits, seafood and everyday ingredients while learning about the produce, flavors and food traditions commonly found in Mekong Delta households.
Continue to a local cocoa garden, where cacao is cultivated among the region's tropical vegetation.
Meet the growers and learn about the process from harvesting cacao pods to fermentation, drying and the production of cocoa products. Depending on the season, there may also be an opportunity to taste fresh cacao fruit or locally made cocoa.
Later, return to a local family home or the homestay for a hands-on cooking experience. Help prepare several simple Mekong Delta dishes using fresh local ingredients, then sit down with your hosts to enjoy the lunch you have helped prepare.
After lunch, collect your luggage, say goodbye to your hosts and travel back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Arrive in the late afternoon, then check in and settle into your hotel.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before spending your remaining time in Ho Chi Minh City at leisure, depending on your international flight schedule.
You may relax at the hotel, enjoy some final shopping or explore nearby areas independently.
At the appropriate time, meet your driver for the transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

- All customers participating in the tour must have a passport and identification document when leaving the country.
- Backpack, toiletry bag, sunscreen/cap, water bottles, camera(optional), extra pair of clothes, personal medication, track pants and cotton T-shirt, sweater/ warm jackets for the night.
- Dry fruits, energy bar, chocolates, torch per person with extra batteries, moov spray, dettol solution or salt to avoid leeches, sports shoes or trekking shoes or comfortable shoes with good grip, personal hygiene items: medicine, face towel, shower gel, brush, toothpaste.
- Deposit 50% tour price when signing up and pay the remaining amount 10 days before starting date.
- In case of tour cancellation: (Tour cancellation time is calculated by working days, excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays and New Year).
- After the deposit, if you cancel the tour, the company will not refund the deposit.
- If you cancel or change the tour within 20 - 29 working days before the departure date, please pay the fee of: 70% of the tour price.
- If you cancel or change the tour within 10 - 19 working days before the departure date, please pay the fee of: 90% of the tour price.
- If you cancel or change the tour 9 working days before the departure date, please pay the fee of: 100% of the tour value.
* Notes:
- Your passport must be valid for more than 6 months from the date of return.
- If you are a foreigner or overseas Vietnamese, please bring all your passports (bring both passports in case you have 2 citizenships), and Vietnamese visa (attached to your passport or separate sheet) while on tour.
- Please follow according to the tour program, do not separate from the group. If there is a need to separate from the group, please notify the consultant when registering for the tour for more information and additional costs (if any).
- Customers aged 70 years or older require a health certificate to travel abroad from a doctor and must be accompanied by a relative under 60 years old (healthy). Guests over 75 years old, please pay a premium insurance (the fee varies depending on the tour).
- The program may change depending on the flight situation, the hotel in at the site will be officially confirmed on the day of the group meeting, 2-3 days before the departure date. The attractions may not be in the order in the program. During the peak weeks in the site, the hotel may not be in the central area but still ensure the hotel standard according to the program.
- In case of cancellation of the tour right after registration until 10 days before the departure date, you will be subject to a 30% penalty on the travel fare.
- In case of cancellation of the tour within 5-10 days before the departure date, you will be charged 50% of the travel fare.
- In case of cancellation of the tour within 3-5 days before the departure date, you will be charged 75% of the travel fare.
- If you cancel the tour within 0 – 3 days before the departure date, you will be charged 100% of the travel fare.

- In case of tour cancellation due to objective incidents such as natural disasters, epidemics, postponement and cancellation of transportations service... Tourist will not be responsible for any additional compensation other than refund tour fee.
- Above is the maximum cancellation penalty, this cost can be reduced depending on the conditions of each service provider for Tourist.
- The tour cancellation time is calculated for working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and New Year.
- If the travel program is canceled or changed by either party due to a force majeure reason (fire, weather, accident, natural disaster, war, delay and cancellation of the public transport plus…), the two parties will not bear any obligation to compensate for the loss that has occurred and not bear any liability. However, each party is responsible for trying its best to help the aggrieved party to minimize losses caused by force majeure.
- Children under 2 years old: 30% of adult price (baby sharing bed with parents).
- Children from 2 to under 12 years old: 90% of adult price (kid sharing bed with parents), 100% of adult price (kid has their own bed).
