After check-in, enjoy some free time to rest after your journey or explore the surrounding area independently, depending on your flight arrival time.
In the evening, experience a traditional Apsara dance performance accompanied by a welcome dinner featuring a selection of Cambodian and international dishes. The graceful movements, elaborate costumes and traditional music provide an engaging introduction to Cambodia’s cultural heritage.
For guests arriving on a late flight, the Apsara dinner show may be rescheduled to another evening to ensure a comfortable and unhurried start to the tour.

After breakfast, begin a full-day guided exploration of the most celebrated monuments within Angkor Archaeological Park.
Begin your exploration at Angkor Thom, the final great capital of the Khmer Empire. Enter the ancient walled city through one of its monumental gateways before continuing to Bayon Temple, renowned for its serene stone faces and detailed bas-reliefs.
Continue through the royal heart of Angkor Thom to visit Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the former Royal Palace enclosure, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. As you explore, your guide will introduce you to the city’s history, architectural features and ceremonial importance during the Angkor period.
Enjoy a satisfying lunch at a nearby local restaurant.
In the afternoon, continue to Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s most iconic temple complex. Walk through its expansive courtyards, galleries and towers while
viewing intricate bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology, royal processions, battles and scenes from everyday life.
Conclude the visit in the late afternoon, when the softer light creates an atmospheric setting around the temple complex. Depending on weather conditions, site access and local regulations, there may also be an opportunity to appreciate the changing light from an authorised viewpoint.

Following breakfast, return to Angkor Archaeological Park for another day of temple exploration.
Begin at Preah Khan, an extensive monastic complex characterised by atmospheric corridors, carved doorways, partially collapsed galleries and trees growing among the ancient stonework.
Continue to Neak Pean, a small island sanctuary surrounded by ancient reservoirs. Its distinctive design reflects the symbolic importance of water in Khmer architecture and religious belief.
Next, visit Ta Som, a quieter temple where tree roots and jungle vegetation have gradually become intertwined with the archaeological remains. Its compact layout and tree-covered gateway provide a peaceful contrast to Angkor’s larger monuments.
A local restaurant provides the setting for lunch.
In the afternoon, explore Ta Prohm, one of the most atmospheric temples within Angkor Archaeological Park. Enormous tree roots spread across stone walls, towers and courtyards, creating a striking combination of ancient architecture and nature.
On the return journey to Siem Reap, stop at Artisans Angkor to observe local craftspeople preserving traditional Khmer skills, including stone carving, wood carving, lacquerwork and silk-related crafts.

After breakfast, travel through the Cambodian countryside to Kbal Spean for the most active part of the day while temperatures are generally more comfortable.
Follow a forest trail uphill for approximately 40–45 minutes to reach an archaeological site carved directly into the riverbed. The path includes uneven surfaces, narrow sections and several steep areas, requiring a reasonable level of fitness.
At the top, discover the River of a Thousand Lingas, where ancient carvings of lingas and Hindu deities were created in the rocks to symbolically sanctify the flowing water. The visibility of the carvings, water level and appearance of the nearby waterfall vary according to seasonal rainfall.
After descending the hill, enjoy either a picnic lunch near the foot of the trail or lunch at a local restaurant, according to the day’s arrangements.
Continue to Banteay Srei, a compact temple renowned for its exceptionally detailed carvings in pink sandstone. The finely preserved decoration includes representations of Hindu deities, floral motifs and scenes from ancient mythology.
In the afternoon, visit Banteay Samre, an elegant temple known for its well-preserved galleries, towers and Angkor Wat-style architecture.
After exploring the complex, return to Siem Reap in the late afternoon.

The Kampong Phluk excursion is best suited to flights departing in the late afternoon or evening.
After breakfast, meet your guide and driver and travel to Kampong Phluk Floating Village on Tonle Sap Lake.
Board a local motorboat and cruise through the community, passing tall stilted houses, schools, small shops and other village facilities adapted to the lake’s dramatic seasonal changes in water level.
Along the way, learn about the daily lives of local families and how fishing, agriculture and the surrounding wetlands support the community.
Depending on the season and water conditions, the excursion may also include a boat ride through the nearby flooded forest, where submerged trees and narrow waterways form a distinctive wetland landscape.
After the visit, make your way back to Siem Reap. Lunch is at your own arrangement, and free time may be available depending on your departure schedule.
At the appropriate time, transfer to Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your five-day Siem Reap and Angkor Wat tour.
Important Tour Notes
The Kbal Spean trek requires a reasonable level of fitness and may not be suitable for travellers with significant mobility limitations. The trail includes uneven surfaces, narrow paths and several steep sections. Sturdy walking shoes, lightweight outdoor clothing, sun protection and sufficient drinking water are strongly recommended.
Water levels at Kbal Spean and the appearance of its waterfall vary according to seasonal rainfall. During drier periods, the riverbed carvings may be more visible, while higher water levels can alter their appearance.
Boat routes, journey times and scenery at Kampong Phluk depend on the seasonal water level of Tonle Sap Lake. During the wet season, boats can generally travel farther through the village and flooded forest. During the dry season, visitors may have clearer views of the tall stilted houses and the exposed landscape beneath them.
The Kampong Phluk excursion on Day 5 is best suited to flights departing in the late afternoon or evening. For earlier departures, the visit may need to be shortened, rescheduled or omitted.

- The remaining balance is due at least 10 days before departure.

- 6–10 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price
- 3–5 days before departure: 75% of total tour price
- Within 3 days before departure or no-show: 100% of total tour price
- Cancellation deadlines are calculated based on working days in Vietnam, excluding weekends and public holidays. Please contact our team if your cancellation request falls close to a deadline.

- Any applicable refunds will be processed after deducting relevant fees and banking charges.
- The time it takes to receive your refund may vary based on your payment provider.
