After breakfast at the hotel, begin your guided exploration of Phnom Penh at Wat Phnom, an important city landmark situated on the capital’s highest natural point. Continue to Wat Ounalom, one of Cambodia’s most significant Buddhist monasteries, before visiting the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Formerly a secondary school, the site was converted into the S-21 detention centre during the Khmer Rouge period. Its preserved rooms, photographs and historical exhibits offer a sobering insight into this difficult chapter of Cambodian history.
Enjoy an included lunch at Khmer Sorin, a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace and adjoining Silver Pagoda, both notable examples of Khmer architecture, before concluding the sightseeing programme at the National Museum, home to an extensive collection of Khmer sculptures and cultural artefacts.

At approximately 6:00 am, meet your guide and cyclo driver for a local Cambodian breakfast experience in Phnom Penh. Travel along Norodom Sihanouk Boulevard and stop near Orussey Market to sample traditional breakfast dishes and local snacks, which form today’s included breakfast. Afterwards, enjoy a cyclo ride through the capital’s morning streets before departing for Kratie at around 8:30 am.
Stop at Skuon’s spider market before continuing to Koh Pen, an island near Kampong Cham known for its seasonal Bamboo Bridge, rural villages, farms and Buddhist monastery. Enjoy an included lunch in Kampong Cham and visit the local market before continuing upstream towards Kratie.
Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy some time to unwind. Later in the afternoon, travel by tuk-tuk to discover several local highlights around the town.

Between 7:30 and 8:00 am, travel along the Mekong River towards Prek Kampi, one of Cambodia’s best-known locations for observing rare Irrawaddy dolphins. Board a traditional wooden boat for an excursion of approximately 45–60 minutes, watching for the dolphins while enjoying the peaceful river scenery.
Continue to Stung Treng for an included lunch before travelling farther north to Koh Han. Upon arrival, board another local boat for a journey through the Mekong’s flooded forest and around several small islands. There will be opportunities to swim during the excursion, so please bring suitable swimwear, a towel and a change of clothes.
In the evening, enjoy dinner prepared by the local community. Spend the night in a basic tent equipped with a mat, pillow and blanket. Facilities are simple, and travellers should be prepared for a rustic overnight experience close to nature.

Begin the day with an early breakfast prepared by the Koh Han local community, then board a local boat for an approximately two-hour journey upstream along the Mekong River towards Preah Romkel. Travel through sections of flooded forest while observing the peaceful river scenery, water birds and small communities situated along the riverbanks.
Upon reaching the Preah Romkel community, enjoy an included lunch and gain an introduction to daily life in this quiet border region. Afterwards, continue to Sopheak Mitt Waterfall, a powerful natural attraction located along the Mekong near the Cambodia–Laos frontier. Take time to appreciate the scale of the waterfall and the surrounding river landscape.
Begin the approximately three-hour drive towards Koh Ker, with a coffee break in Preah Vihear town along the way. Arrive at your hotel in Koh Ker and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

At approximately 6:30 am, begin your guided exploration of Koh Ker, a former capital of the Khmer Empire from 928 to 944. Discover its jungle-covered temples and distinctive pyramid-style architecture during the quieter early-morning hours, when the surrounding forest creates a peaceful atmosphere.
Continue to Saem for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, transfer to a four-wheel-drive vehicle for the ascent into the Dangrek Mountains, where you will explore Preah Vihear Temple. Learn about the temple’s history and architectural layout while taking in extensive views across the surrounding landscapes of Cambodia and Thailand.
Descend from the mountain and continue by road to Siem Reap. A brief stop at Ta Mok’s house in Anlong Veng may be made only if the day’s travelling time permits. Arrive in Siem Reap in the late afternoon, check in to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

After an early breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and driver at approximately 7:30 am for a full-day exploration of the Angkor Archaeological Park. Begin at Angkor Wat, entering through the East Gate and walking through the temple complex before exiting at the West Gate. Admire its architectural design, stone bas-reliefs and graceful Apsara carvings while learning about Khmer history, culture and civilisation.
Continue through the South Gate of Angkor Thom to explore Bayon Temple, renowned for its carved stone faces. Your visit also includes the Baphuon, the Royal Enclosure and the Terrace of the Elephants.
Lunch is served at the home of Mr Peout and Mrs Gin, where you can hear personal stories about Cambodian life from the Khmer Rouge period to the present day. In the afternoon, visit Banteay Srei, admired for its intricate red-sandstone carvings, before continuing to Ta Prohm, where enormous tree roots intertwine with the ancient temple structures.
Return to Siem Reap and unwind with a one-hour traditional Khmer foot massage before being transferred back to your hotel.

Depart early for Phnom Krom, situated south of Siem Reap, to watch the sunrise over the rice fields and Tonle Sap Lake. Enjoy a light picnic breakfast on the hillside while taking in the peaceful morning scenery. Afterwards, return to the hotel to freshen up and enjoy the remainder of your hotel breakfast before checking out.
Travel for approximately two and a half hours to Battambang. Upon arrival, visit a traditional Khmer house, then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel.
In the afternoon, travel with your guide through villages along the Sangker River, passing traditional stilted houses and tropical fruit farms. Observe local residents producing rice paper and rice whiskey, and taste regional fruits such as Battambang oranges and pineapples.
Continue to Phnom Sampeau to visit the hilltop pagoda and caves associated with Cambodia’s recent history. From the hillside, admire views over villages, rice fields and sugar palm trees before watching thousands of bats emerge from the cave at dusk. Enjoy a refreshing cold beer or soft drink before returning to your hotel.

Begin the day at approximately 6:00 am with a ride on the Battambang Bamboo Train. Travel on a motor-powered bamboo platform through rural villages and rice fields while the morning temperature remains comfortable. Afterwards, return to the hotel for a late breakfast, check out and continue towards Kampong Luong in Pursat Province.
Upon arrival, board a local boat to explore one of Tonle Sap Lake’s largest floating communities. Observe the daily lives of Cambodian and Vietnamese families living in floating houses and learn how the community has adapted to life on the lake. After returning to the mainland, enjoy an included lunch at a local restaurant in Pursat.
Continue to Kampong Chhnang and visit a pottery-producing village surrounded by rice fields. Observe traditional pottery-making techniques and learn how villagers collect sugar from palm trees. Your guide will provide explanations and assist with communication throughout the village visit.

After breakfast, travel towards the Chambok Ecotourism Community in Kampong Speu Province, passing rice fields, sugar cane plantations and palm-lined countryside. Stop along the way at Te Teuk Pus Natural Hot Spring in Oral District, a geothermal area surrounded by tall grasses, reeds and distinctive red rock formations.
Continue to Chambok, where an included lunch will be served before a short trek of approximately two kilometres to Chambok Waterfall. The walk provides an opportunity to experience the natural surroundings of the community and neighbouring Kirirom National Park.
Comfortable walking shoes, lightweight clothing, sun protection, insect repellent and sufficient drinking water are recommended for today’s activities.
Afterwards, travel into Kirirom National Park and check in to your resort. Take a local motorcycle taxi through the pine forest to Thmor Loy, a hilltop viewpoint overlooking the surrounding landscape. Afterwards, return to the resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

At approximately 6:00 pm, meet your guide and tuk-tuk driver at the hotel. Begin the evening at a riverfront bar with a short presentation and cocktail before continuing to a local night market and street-food area. Sample Cambodian-style seafood, including Saba fish and squid served with Kampot pepper.
Later, visit a popular local venue featuring live music and additional Cambodian food. Stop at the Independence Monument for photographs and historical background before concluding the evening at a rooftop bar offering panoramic views over Phnom Penh. Unwind with a refreshing drink before heading back to your hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and continue with the day’s program. At the appropriate time, meet your driver for a transfer from your hotel to Phnom Penh Airport for your departure flight.
