Your journey begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai, followed by a scenic drive north through the mountains of Northern Thailand towards Pai. Along the way, stop at Mae Malai Market, a lively local market where vendors sell fresh produce, regional snacks and everyday goods, offering an authentic glimpse into rural life before the road climbs into the hills.

Continue to Pong Dueat Hot Spring, a natural geothermal area set in a peaceful forested valley. Take time to explore the surroundings and see the hot spring pools and natural geysers before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, continue along the winding mountain road to Pai, passing lush countryside and highland scenery along the way.

Your journey continues to Tham Lod Cave, one of Northern Thailand’s most impressive cave systems. Accompanied by local guides, board a traditional bamboo raft and glide along the underground stream that passes through the cave. My Mae Hong Son Loop Tour 4 Days with Auasia Travel was a fantastic experience and a wonderful way to discover the beauty of Northern Thailand. From the very beginning, the journey from Chiang Mai to Pai was one of the highlights of the trip. The winding mountain roads offered breathtaking views of valleys, forests and rolling hills, making every part of the drive enjoyable.
Along the way, we stopped at local attractions including Mae Malai Market and Pong Dueat Hot Spring, where I had the chance to enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings before continuing to Pai. When we arrived, I immediately fell in love with the relaxed atmosphere of the town. Pai felt very different from Thailand’s larger cities, with a slower pace of life and a welcoming local character.
