Welcome to Da Nang, one of Central Vietnam’s most convenient coastal gateways. Upon arrival at Da Nang International Airport, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel in the city center or near My Khe Beach. Travel time is normally about 15–20 minutes, depending on traffic.
After hotel check-in, you can spend the rest of the day relaxing after your journey. You may spend time by the beach, take a gentle walk along the coastline, or explore nearby cafés and local restaurants at your own pace.
For early arrivals, a sunset walk along My Khe Beach is a pleasant way to begin your journey in Central Vietnam.
Overnight in Da Nang.
After breakfast at your hotel, travel to Ba Na Hills, located about 40 km from Da Nang. On arrival, take the cable car up to the mountain resort and enjoy wide views of the surrounding forests, hills and coastline.
Visit the famous Golden Bridge, known for its giant stone hands and panoramic mountain setting. This is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Central Vietnam and a popular photo stop for international visitors.
Continue exploring other areas of Ba Na Hills, including the French Village, gardens, scenic viewpoints and optional indoor entertainment at Fantasy Park. Lunch is served as a buffet at Ba Na Hills, with a selection of Vietnamese and international dishes.
In the afternoon, return to Da Nang and visit some of the city’s main landmarks. Stop at Han Market to see local daily life and browse for souvenirs, then continue to Dragon Bridge and Love Bridge along the Han River.
After the city tour, return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Overnight in Da Nang.
After breakfast, depart from Da Nang for My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site set in a peaceful valley surrounded by mountains. This important Cham heritage site was built between the 4th and 13th centuries and offers insight into the history, architecture and spiritual life of the ancient Champa Kingdom.
Walk among the remaining brick temple towers and learn about the cultural significance of the site before continuing toward Hoi An. A local lunch is served at a restaurant along the route.
In the afternoon, visit Cam Thanh Coconut Village for a basket boat ride through the water coconut forest. This light local experience gives you a relaxed look at countryside life near Hoi An, with a chance to see traditional fishing activities and enjoy the peaceful river setting.
Later, continue to Hoi An Ancient Town for a guided walking tour. Explore its atmospheric streets, old merchant houses, local markets, assembly halls, Tan Ky Ancient House, Quan Cong Temple and the famous Japanese Covered Bridge.
As evening falls, Hoi An becomes especially charming with lantern-lit streets, riverside cafés and small local shops. Enjoy leisure time to wander around the town at your own pace.
Overnight in Hoi An.
After breakfast at your hotel in Hoi An, depart for Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. The journey follows one of the most scenic overland routes in Central Vietnam, passing through coastal landscapes, mountains and small local towns.
Travel over Hai Van Pass, known for its sweeping views of the coastline and the East Sea. Stop along the way for photos before continuing to Lang Co Beach, a quiet coastal area with white sand, calm water and mountain scenery.
Arrive in Hue around midday and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, begin your Hue city tour with a visit to Khai Dinh Tomb, one of the most distinctive royal tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty, combining Vietnamese and European architectural styles.
Continue with a boat trip on the Perfume River, offering a peaceful view of Hue from the water. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the city’s oldest and most important religious sites, before exploring Hue Imperial City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that once served as the political and cultural center of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty.
After the tour, transfer to your hotel for check-in, then enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Overnight in Hue.
After breakfast, leave Hue and travel north toward Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dramatic limestone mountains, underground rivers and cave systems. The journey usually takes around 4–5 hours, depending on traffic and sightseeing stops.
Along the way, stop at La Vang Holy Land, an important Catholic pilgrimage site in Quang Tri Province. Continue to the former DMZ area and visit Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, two important landmarks connected to Vietnam’s modern history.
A local lunch is served at a restaurant along the route.
In the afternoon, arrive in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and begin your Phong Nha Cave visit. Take a boat trip along the Son River, passing limestone scenery and local riverside life before entering the cave.
Inside Phong Nha Cave, admire the underground river, large chambers and natural limestone formations. After the visit, transfer to your accommodation in Phong Nha and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Overnight in Phong Nha.
After breakfast, check out and continue exploring Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Start with a visit to Paradise Cave, one of the most impressive dry caves in the region. The cave is known for its large chambers, wooden walkways and striking stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Take your time walking through the accessible section of the cave and enjoy the cool underground atmosphere before returning to the surface. Lunch is arranged at a local restaurant along the way.
In the afternoon, continue to Dark Cave for a more active adventure experience. Depending on weather and operating conditions, the activity may include zip-lining across the Chay River, kayaking or swimming, exploring the cave with safety equipment and enjoying a natural mud bath inside the cave.
Please note that Dark Cave is best suited for active travelers. The mud bath and some adventure activities may not be available during colder weather or certain operating conditions.
After the visit, transfer to Dong Hoi for drop-off at the airport, train station or bus station. This marks the end of your Central Vietnam 6-day tour from Da Nang to Hoi An, Hue and Phong Nha.

- The remaining balance is due at least 10 days before departure.
- In case of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable after booking confirmation.

In the event of cancellations, the following conditions will apply:
- More than 10 days before departure: 30% of total tour price
- 5–10 days before departure: 50% of total tour price
- 3–5 days before departure: 75% of total tour price
- Within 3 days before departure or no-show: 100% of total tour price
- Cancellation time is calculated based on working days (excluding weekends and public holidays)
Refunds
- Any applicable refunds will be processed after deducting relevant fees and banking charges.
- The time it takes to receive your refund may vary based on your payment provider.
- Hotel rooms are typically available from 14:00 and should be vacated by 12:00
- Early check-in or late check-out available upon request (subject to availability and surcharge)
- Single supplement applies for solo travelers booking a private Vietnam tour
- Triple room option is available upon request
- The itinerary may be adjusted due to flight schedules, weather conditions, or operational factors
- Peak season surcharge: Additional charges may apply for Christmas Eve (24 December) and New Year’s Eve (31 December) Gala dinners
- Public holiday surcharge: Applicable during major holidays such as Vietnamese public holidays (Reunification Day 30/4 – Labour Day 1/5, Lunar New Year/Tet)
- Passports must be valid for a minimum of six months from the date of travel. Entry requirements, including visas, vary by nationality.
