Upon arrival in Hanoi, meet your driver and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel for check-in. The time before the evening program is free and self-guided, allowing you to rest after your journey or explore the surrounding area at your own pace.

In the evening, meet your local guide and set out on a guided Hanoi street food tour through lively streets and local eateries. Sample a selection of Vietnamese specialties while learning about Hanoi's culinary traditions and everyday food culture.

The tastings served during the tour will make up your dinner. Afterwards, return to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, begin your Hanoi city tour at Ba Dinh Square, where your guide will introduce the historical significance of the area while you view the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside.

Continue to Tran Quoc Pagoda, located beside West Lake, before visiting the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology for an introduction to the traditions, architecture and lifestyles of Vietnam's diverse ethnic communities.

Next, enjoy a local lunch at a nearby restaurant.

In the afternoon, explore the capital on a guided Hanoi Old Quarter walking tour. Begin near Long Bien Bridge and continue through the traditional trading streets around Dong Xuan Market, Hang Ma, Luong Van Can, Lan Ong and Hang Buom.

Visit Bach Ma Temple, one of the historic religious landmarks of the Old Quarter, before stopping at Hanoi Coffee Station or a similar boutique café for a complimentary Vietnamese coffee.

Continue toward Hoan Kiem Lake, taking in the distinctive atmosphere, street life and historic character of central Hanoi along the way.

In the evening, attend a traditional Hanoi Water Puppet Show. After the performance, the guided program concludes and the rest of the evening is free for your own arrangements.

After breakfast, leave Hanoi behind and travel toward Ha Long Bay, where hundreds of limestone formations rise from the water to create one of northern Vietnam’s most distinctive landscapes. Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina around midday and board your overnight cruise.

After a welcome drink and safety introduction, settle into your cabin and enjoy lunch on board while the vessel begins cruising deeper into the bay.

Begin with a visit to Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave). Follow the pathway and stone steps through its spacious chambers, where natural rock formations have developed over thousands of years.

Later, continue to Luon Cave, a quieter area enclosed by limestone cliffs. Depending on weather and local operating conditions, explore the surroundings by kayak or traditional bamboo boat, offering a closer perspective of the calm waters and karst scenery.

Back on board, enjoy the late afternoon at a more relaxed pace. Join the cruise’s scheduled activities, which may include a cooking demonstration, sunset gathering and happy hour, before sitting down to dinner.

The evening is yours to enjoy the atmosphere of Ha Long Bay after dark. You may relax on deck or take part in squid fishing according to the cruise program.

Moderate Walking with No Strenuous Activity. The visit to Sung Sot Cave includes steps and uneven surfaces, while kayaking requires basic mobility and balance. Comfortable walking shoes and light outdoor clothing are really recommended.

Wake early if you wish to enjoy the tranquil morning scenery of Ha Long Bay, with tea, coffee and a light breakfast available on board. Guests who would like to participate may join an optional Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

Later, take a tender to Ti Top Island. You may climb to the viewpoint for panoramic views across the bay or remain around the lower viewing area and beach for a more relaxed visit.

Return to the cruise to freshen up, complete your packing and check out of your cabin.

Enjoy brunch on board as the boat cruises back toward Tuan Chau Marina.

Upon leaving the cruise, your driver will transfer you back to Hanoi. Depending on the actual arrival time, enjoy some free and self-guided time before your evening railway transfer.

Later, meet your driver and transfer to Hanoi Railway Station to board the overnight train to Lao Cai, the rail gateway to Sapa. Settle into your air-conditioned soft-sleeper cabin for the overnight journey north.

Cruise schedules, sightseeing order and activity times may be adjusted according to weather, tides and local operating conditions.

Arrive at Lao Cai Railway Station in the early morning and continue by road to Sapa.

As hotel rooms may not yet be available at this hour, breakfast will be arranged in Sapa before the day's program begins, allowing you to continue comfortably without depending on early hotel check-in.

Meet your guide and set out on a guided trek around Ma Tra Village, home to a Black H'Mong community.

Walk through the peaceful mountain countryside while learning about local traditions, farming practices and everyday village life. Along the way, enjoy views of the rural landscapes surrounding Sapa and gain a closer look at life beyond the town center.

After the trek, return to Sapa for lunch at a local restaurant.

Check into your hotel when your room becomes available. The remainder of the afternoon is free and self-guided, giving you time to rest after the overnight train, explore Sapa town independently or simply enjoy the mountain atmosphere.

Mostly Easy with Occasional Moderate Activity. Comfortable walking shoes with good grip are recommended, particularly during or after wet weather.

After breakfast, begin a rewarding full-day trekking experience through the Sapa countryside and Muong Hoa Valley.

Start with Cat Cat Village, a traditional Black H'Mong community located below Sapa town. Explore the village area and surrounding mountain scenery before continuing farther into the Muong Hoa Valley.

Your trek then takes you through the countryside around Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai, following a combination of village paths and rural trails through terraced farmland, streams and local settlements.

Along the way, your guide will introduce the culture, traditions and daily life of the ethnic communities living throughout the valley.

Stop for lunch during the journey before continuing toward Ta Van Village, known for its broad rice terraces and traditional village landscapes.

This is the most active trekking day of the tour, involving several hours of walking over slopes, village paths and uneven terrain. The exact route, trekking sections and pace may be adjusted by your guide according to trail conditions, weather and the group's fitness while retaining the main village experiences.

Arrive in Ta Van Village in the afternoon and settle into your local homestay.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at the homestay or with your local hosts, followed by time to relax and experience the quieter atmosphere of the Muong Hoa Valley.

Activity level: Moderate. Several hours of trekking are involved, and trails may become more demanding when wet or muddy. Sturdy walking shoes, breathable clothing, sun protection and a light waterproof jacket are recommended.

Enjoy an early breakfast at your homestay before leaving Ta Van Village and transferring back toward Sapa for your morning visit to Fansipan Mountain.

Take the Fansipan cable car toward the upper station, enjoying elevated views over the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and surrounding valleys when weather conditions are favorable.

From the upper station, continue through the mountaintop area toward the Fansipan summit, exploring the high-altitude scenery and spiritual complex along the way.

Reaching the summit involves additional walking and climbing steps. Guests who prefer to reduce the amount of climbing may use the mountain funicular, subject to operation and whether the ticket is included in the tour arrangements.

After completing your visit, descend by cable car and return to Sapa town for lunch at a local restaurant.

In the early afternoon, board your VIP bus from Sapa to Hanoi. Rest stops will be made during the approximately 330-kilometre journey.

Arrive in Hanoi in the evening, where the tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel or the designated central Hanoi location.

A Comfortable Pace with Light to Moderate Activity. Although the main ascent is by cable car, walking and steps are required at high altitude. Comfortable walking shoes, warm layers and a light waterproof jacket are recommended, as conditions around the summit can be considerably cooler and more changeable than in Sapa town.

Fansipan operating schedules and access may be adjusted due to weather or local operating conditions. The morning schedule should therefore be reconfirmed before travel to ensure sufficient time for the onward VIP bus to Hanoi.

Dry fruits, energy bar, chocolates, torch per person with extra batteries, moov spray, dettol solution or salt to avoid leeches, sports shoes or trekking shoes or comfortable shoes with good grip, personal hygiene items: medicine, face towel, shower gel, brush, toothpaste.

Deposit 50% tour price when signing up and pay the remaining amount 10 days before starting date.
In case of tour cancellation: (Tour cancellation time is calculated by working days, excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays and New Year).
After the deposit, if you cancel the tour, the company will not refund the deposit.
If you cancel or change the tour within 20 - 29 working days before the departure date, please pay the fee of: 70% of the tour price.
If you cancel or change the tour within 10 - 19 working days before the departure date, please pay the fee of: 90% of the tour price.
If you cancel or change the tour 9 working days before the departure date, please pay the fee of: 100% of the tour value.

Your passport must be valid for more than 6 months from the date of return.
If you are a foreigner or overseas Vietnamese, please bring all your passports (bring both passports in case you have 2 citizenships), and Vietnamese visa (attached to your passport or separate sheet) while on tour.
Please follow according to the tour program, do not separate from the group. If there is a need to separate from the group, please notify the consultant when registering for the tour for more information and additional costs (if any).
Customers aged 70 years or older require a health certificate to travel abroad from a doctor and must be accompanied by a relative under 60 years old (healthy). Guests over 75 years old, please pay a premium insurance (the fee varies depending on the tour).
The program may change depending on the flight situation, the hotel in at the site will be officially confirmed on the day of the group meeting, 2-3 days before the departure date. The attractions may not be in the order in the program. During the peak weeks in the site, the hotel may not be in the central area but still ensure the hotel standard according to the program.

In case of cancellation of the tour right after registration until 10 days before the departure date, you will be subject to a 30% penalty on the travel fare.
In case of cancellation of the tour within 5-10 days before the departure date, you will be charged 50% of the travel fare.
In case of cancellation of the tour within 3-5 days before the departure date, you will be charged 75% of the travel fare.
If you cancel the tour within 0 – 3 days before the departure date, you will be charged 100% of the travel fare.

Above is the maximum cancellation penalty, this cost can be reduced depending on the conditions of each service provider for Tourist.
The tour cancellation time is calculated for working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and New Year.
If the travel program is canceled or changed by either party due to a force majeure reason (fire, weather, accident, natural disaster, war, delay and cancellation of the public transport plus…), the two parties will not bear any obligation to compensate for the loss that has occurred and not bear any liability. However, each party is responsible for trying its best to help the aggrieved party to minimize losses caused by force majeure.

Incredible Holiday in Vietnam

The tour was excellent! I really enjoyed the trip. Mr. Luc Nguyen was particularly knowledgeable. The history of Hanoi, Halong bay and Sapa was well understood by Luc, who was also very amiable, pleasant, and understanding of our requirements. Foods and hotels are lovely for our satisfaction.
